Mario J. Cacciola

Senior Associate

Mario J. Cacciola

Mario has over a decade of experience representing plaintiffs and defendants in high-stakes litigation in both state and federal court. His experience also includes representing clients in government enforcement actions and mediations. He has represented individuals and financial institutions in disputes surrounding structured products, securities, derivatives, antitrust, and market manipulation, as well as ERISA matters.

Mario’s hands-on approach ensures that each of his clients receives representation attuned to their individual needs to successfully meet their goals.

Prior to joining K&S, Mario was an associate at Jones Day, Duane Morris, and Scott and Scott in New York.

Mario is also committed to pro bono matters and has successfully represented individuals seeking asylum in the United States and in civil rights matters, and in law school he was part of team that successfully challenged the death sentence imposed on a Texas death row inmate.

When he is not zealously representing his clients, Mario enjoys playing music, running half-marathons, and creating delectable dishes in the kitchen. He is also a member of the associate board of Summer Search, a U.S.-based non-profit that provides low-income high school students with mentoring, summer experiential learning opportunities, individualized college and post-secondary advising, and career supports.
