Mark Keurian

Mark is an experienced commercial litigator who brings a deeply thoughtful, steady and tireless approach to serving his individual and institutional clients. Mark is known by clients and colleagues for his ability to advocate zealously while remaining undaunted in the face of difficult and nuanced problems. Mark’s deeply considered approach has garnered him a reputation as someone clients rely on to provide practical solutions to sometimes novel issues.

Mark has over 10 years of experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in various areas of civil litigation, ranging from business disputes to property disputes to legal challenges against municipal boards. He has also acted as outside counsel for various not for profit organizations from those supporting infants and students to homeowners’ groups, serving as litigation and general counsel, advising the entities and board members on various issues including legal and fiduciary obligations.

Mark has had the honor of interning in two federal courts, assisting the Judges and law clerks in reviewing legal submissions by counsel, researching caselaw and preparing memoranda for the Judges concerning opinions on trademark law, the federal trade adjustment assistance program, tariffs, and eligibility for social security benefits, amongst other areas.

Prior to K&S, Mark worked in the Office of General Counsel at Fordham University and then at a boutique law firm with a focus on commercial litigation, property, neighbor, Article 78 and eminent domain related litigation.
